Never-mind the similar names; Drag the Rope is nothing like Cut the Rope, except in that it’s a free, very fun, casual puzzler. While we haven’t spent enough time with it to give it a proper review, we’ve played enough to recommend downloading it, especially considering it’s now free.
The idea behind Drag the Rope is to wind a rope around a series of pegs without doubling back, and end up with the rope making out a pre-determined pattern. Sounds easy, right? It’s not. Drag the Rope turns into quite the brain-bender. Considering it includes 300 levels, we think you’ll be playing this game for quite some time.
And if you’re worried about getting raked over the coals by IAPs — don’t be. The only IAPs are for hints (we don’t need no stinkin’ hints) and ad-removal. The ads aren’t even that invasive, so you shouldn’t feel pressured to make a purchase unless you really love the game and want to support the developer.
Drag the Rope is free for a limited time, so if we’ve piqued your interest, be sure to jump on this right away.
